Weird Holidays in December.

I just visited a page that had the weirdest material on it. There was a list of all the bizarre holidays in December. Here is the list:
  • December 1 is National Pie Day and Eat A Red Apple Day
  • December 2 is National Fritters Day
  • December 3 is National Roof-Over-Your-Head Day
  • December 4 is Wear Brown Shoes Day
  • December 5 is National Sacher Torte Day
  • December 6 is National Gazpacho Day and Mitten Tree Day
  • December 7 is National Cotton Candy Day
  • December 8 is Take It In The Ear Day
  • December 9 is National Pastry Day
  • December 10 is Festival For The Souls Of Dead Whales
  • December 11 is National Noodle Ring Day
  • December 12 is National Ding-A-Ling Day
  • December 13 is Ice Cream and Violins Day
  • December 14 is National Bouillabaisse Day
  • December 15 is National Lemon Cupcake Day
  • December 16 is National Chocolate Covered Anything Day
  • December 17 is Underdog Day and National Maple Syrup Day
  • December 18 is National Roast Suckling Pig Day
  • December 19 is Oatmeal Muffin Day
  • December 20 is Games Day
  • December 21 is Look At The Bright Side Day, National Flashlight Day, National French Fried Shrimp Day, and Hamburger Day
  • December 22 is National Date-Nut Bread Day
  • December 23 is Roots Day
  • December 24 is National Egg Nog Day
  • December 25 is National Pumpkin Pie Day
  • December 26 is National Whiners Day
  • December 27 is National Fruitcake Day
  • December 28 is Card Playing Day and National Chocolate Day
  • December 29 is Pepper Pot Day
  • December 30 is Festival Of Enormous Changes At The Last Minute and National Bicarbonate Of Soda Day
  • December 31 is Unlucky Day

Is that not totally weird? I mean, some of them I can understand like December 24 being "National Egg Nog Day" and December 25 being "National Pumpkin Pie Day" because on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day you drink egg nog and eat pumpkin pie, but December 8 being "Take It in the Ear Day". I don't get that. Not only does it not make any sense but it's completely perverted. I don't know where they get those holidays from sometimes.

Question?

Why do teachers all give tests on the same day? Is it some kind of conspiracy or something? Do they get together and discuss which day to have tests so you can have three or four tests in one day? I have a test in Anat. & Phys., Chem. II, and Eng. IV tomorrow- and I can't even study because I have to tutor tonight! My gah!
Well, on a happier note, I talked to my guy last night and we're a-okay again, so there's no more dogs who love cats for now. Mom's pressuring me to make plans with him for the weekend tonight so she can figure out what day she wants to see her man.
What do ya'll think of this quote:
"Clothes make the man. Naked people have little to no influence on
society."--Mark Twain
Or how about this one:
"George Washington, as a boy, was ignorant of the commonest accomplishments of
youth. He could not even lie."--Mark Twain
I'm trying to find an interesting, insightful, funny senior quote. Let me know what ya'll think.

Cats Who Love Dogs

I love my boyfriend (guess who's the cat and who's the dog?), I just want to make that clear, I love him dearly- I just need to vent, on the Internet. As I said, I love him, but this is the second time we've dated and I'm afraid that he's doing the same things that caused us to break up last time. And if he starts doing what he did that caused us to break up, then I'll start doing what I did that caused us to break up and we'll break up. And I don't want that.

Cow-Eating Tree

I heard about this tree in India that grabbed this cow right off the ground and tried to eat it. Why in the world would a tree try to eat a cow; I thought trees used- not even actually ate, used!- soil, water, sunshine, and a few other things. I didn't think they ATE COWS! What is this world coming to when cows aren't safe from trees?! Luckily, the cow was saved by some villagers who beat up the tree. Oh well, I guess there's no reason to cry over almost-eaten-by-a tree cow.
